Melodiax is a local, offline-oriented music player for Android. It plays audio files already stored on your device or removable storage—no Melodiax streaming service, no account, and no Melodiax-operated cloud for your library.

It is free software under the GNU GPLv3, offered as a community-minded fork in the Phonograph → Retro Music Player → Metro lineage. Melodiax is independent and not affiliated with those upstream projects.

Melodiax does not grant rights to music or artwork. You are responsible for the files you play and for obtaining them lawfully. Melodiax is not affiliated with Phonograph, Retro Music Player, Metro, or their maintainers—please do not contact those projects for Melodiax support.
